While stainless steel is very durable, not completely free of maintenance. Stainless steel is a metal alloy created from a combination of metal, including nickel and chromium. Because there is a sufficient amount of chromium creates a protective layer of chromium oxide on the surface when exposed to air. If the surface of sinks polluter is left wet or covered with food and other metals in the sink can not form this protective layer and become susceptible to stains and rust marks. While maintaining your sink will last a lifetime and continue to add charm and beauty to any decor.
General cleaning instructions:
Wash weekly with mild dish detergent and a soft towel or sponge, to prevent buildup of mineral deposits from water. Wipe dry smooth after each use to prevent water spots that can hinder the emergence of the pool. For points of grease or dirt can use a stronger mixture of baking soda and water with a soft sponge and scrub in the direction of the grain. Never use steel wool in the sink of this scratch the surface.
General Care Instructions:

Oil (mineral or olive oil) disposed stripes and give it that "new sink "brightness. First dry your sink. Start with a few drops on a paper towel and rub it across the surface of the pool. Repeat until desired result is achieved.
The appearance of rust is often caused by pulling or leave pots, pans and dishes and cutlery in the sink. These marks are superficial and easily removed with a little baking soda and water or a product like Bar Keepers Friend ® (available in most supermarkets). Follow the manufacturer's instructions for any store bought product. Or make a paste with baking soda and water, scrub with the grain of the goal until the marks are gone. Rinse, repeat if necessary and finish drying the sink with a towel smooth.
For deep nicks or blanket brightness SOS ® can help hide some of the damage. With the grain of the finish, rub gently on the zero and the surrounding area. When finished rinse and dry. (This advice is for deep cuts to a brushed finish, use of such product cause permanent scratches!)
Quick Tips:
- Never use steel wool on stainless steel sink
- Never use chlorine or chlorine on stainless steel
-- Remove the sink to dry networks
- Do not let food dry on the surface sinks
- DO NOT let the pots, pans and metal flatware set in the sink overnight.
- DO Run the cold water when pouring boiling water into the sink
- DO NOT use your sink as a cutting board
- Do Leave wet sponges or towels in the sink
- No cleaning Wipe against the grain of the target
- Keep your sink
- NO rubber mats or plates cubes in the sink
A stainless steel sink is a great compliment to any style of kitchen from traditional to contemporary. Every kitchen deserves a great sink.
Is it wet cat food less likely to stick to stainless steel tableware?
You know how Whiskas, etc, it sticks like glue to porcelain dishes used for feeding cats? It makes use of stainless steel bowls and find someone less messy?
In my experience, if they are not wet food out is just as likely to stick to stainless steel plates with dishes you do. I think it soak before washing makes it easier for remove dry foods.
